How to get to Grieghallen

 

Public transport

Bergen Railway Station and Bergen Bus Station are situated just a four minutes’ walk from Grieghallen. We encourage our audience to choose environmentally friendly transportation!

 

Bergen City Bike

A city bike will take you quickly and easily around Bergen. You will find a city bike station just outside Grieghallen.

 

Parking

You find parking spaces beneath the hall at Edvard Griegs plass, in GriegGarasjen. Entry from Lars Hilles gate street and exit to Strømgaten street. Read more about payment via app or other payment options here

Ticket sales

Ticket purchases are done through Ticketmaster. Please make sure you select the correct ticket. Information about the event is provided by the organizer and Grieghallen is not responsible for the execution or quality of the event.

 

Ticket refund

Purchased tickets are not refunded. In the event of cancellation, the ticket is refunded within 60 days after the date of the event. If the event is rescheduled, the ticket will be valid for the new date in most cases. The service charge is not refunded and consequential loss or damages are not covered. In special cases the organizer’s own rules may apply, in which case they must be contacted directly.

Plan your visit

When do the doors open?

All our events start on time. For certain events, admission after the doors are closed is not possible. For most concerts and events at Grieghallen, the doors open one hour before the event starts.

 

Age limit and guardian policy

Please note that many family and children’s performances have a recommended lower age limit. 

 

For many events at Grieghallen where there is an age limit, our guardian policy applies. A guardian can bring one person below the age limit, in accordance with certain conditions. You can download the form here.

Cloakroom

There is a free and unattended cloakroom in the foyer. Belongings are left at the owner’s risk, but the cloakroom is watched by our personnel.

 

Photography and use of phone

On most events, photography and filming is not allowed. Please be considerate of those around you, be present, and enjoy the performance! Thank you in advance!

 

Lost and found

We take care of forgotten items for 3 months. After this it is delivered to Fretex.

 

Pre-order food and beverages

Remember to order food, snacks, and drinks to enjoy before the event and in the interval and avoid the queue. Your order is ready for the time you select. Please place your order here.

Disability accommodation

For the hearing impaired there is an IR system in Griegsalen and the Peer Gynt hall. Please contact our personnel to borrow a receiver.

 

Through entrance A to Griegsalen, there are 10 seats in row 6 (stalls) reserved for wheelchair users. By the same entrance you will also find accessible toilets. There is access to the halls via lift or stairs from both foyers.

 

If you need assistance, please contact our personnel in the foyer. Wheelchair seats are booked through our ticket office, where you may also book a companion ticket for a companion with a companion pass. Companion passes are issued by Bergen municipality.
