Grieghallen has modern venues and flexible solutions that makes it the perfect place to hold everything from smaller seminars and conferences to large congresses, in the heart of Bergen.

Grieghallen hosts large conferences like Under Water Technology Conference (UTC) and Nordic Media Days annually, in addition to a number of other national and international conferences. As we are situated right in the middle of Bergen and close to every public transport hub, it is easy for every participant to get to the event. Those who arrive by car can park underneath Edvard Griegs plass.

Modern seminar and conference venues in the middle of Bergen

With 25 000 square metres spread over 20 rooms and halls, Grieghallen has the capacity to host small and large conferences and congresses in Bergen’s city centre.

Our venues have every facility for a congress and we tailor packages for your needs. The conference venues and meeting rooms are modern and equipped with new technical solutions.

The Peer Gynt hall is the conference centre’s largest hall, seating up to 700 people. This is a highly flexible venue well suited for conferences and other larger events like congresses. Griegsalen accommodates up to 1628 people, with room for further 600 people if you make use of the stage.

The large foyers connected to Griegsalen and Peer Gynt hall are suitable spaces for mingling and serving food and drinks, and also for displays from participants and organizers. Grieghallen also has smaller rooms well suited for seminars, meetings, and parallel sessions. The elegant lounges Nina and Edvard are suitable for board meetings, general assemblies, or social functions or simply serving as a meeting room or lounge. In these venues there is also served extravagant dinners in elegant surroundings.

Grieghallen has for over 40 years been Eikanger-Bjørsvik favorite venue. Ever since the first brassband concert there in 10.12.78 has the band found it extra special playing on the big stage.
